Laissez les bon temps rouler!
The wedding festivities will occur in and around the French Quarter. This area, while hit by Katrina in 2005, has been either rebuilt or was not effected. It is still as vibrant and fun as ever, and in fact, it seems cleaner and safer than it has in recent memory. This town is a beautiful, southern, tropical party town and we are so happy to be spending our most special day there with all our guests. We are sure everyone that joins us there will have a great experience

We encourage everyone to really make the best of their trip by eating the amazing local food, enjoying the timeless music that is heard on every street corner, and in general, making a weekend vacation out of it.

The airport that is most convenient is Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). There are many deals to be had to get down here - using fare savers websites, like Orbitz, Travelocity, and Sidestep, and if purchased at the right time, it should be quite reasonable to get there. (Note: Airline fares may decrease as it gets closer to the wedding).

If you use our hotel blocks to book your lodging, you can get four star hotel rooms for around $100 - $150 a night. A great deal for rooms that normally go for $300-400 during the high season.

Ceremony
Our wedding will be officiated by Reverend Anthony (Tony) Talavera in the gardens of the Claiborne Mansion. After the ceremony, the guests that are willing and able can participate in a traditional second line parade. We will be lead by a brass band to the reception, at Melrose Mansion, about 3 blocks away. We have booked the amazing Chris Klein and the Boulevards for our second line party and reception! Visit their myspace page to check them out.
